Passenger Complaint: Uniworld Boutique River Cruises Review June 9, 2018 – “Attention to detail was not always apparent. Our room was not attended to one time and then still had no next day tour information or treat on the bed. The bathroom had another persons hair on the ground on arrival and would still be there if I had not have removed it. I left it 2 days to see.. On arrival back from the Moscow circus our meal was ready to find the potatoes were under catered for and there was a 15 minute wait for the meat which had run out. This was at 11pm at night so really not happy to stand and wait for food after not having had a meal since lunch at 1pm. Poor planning and chef needs to do his maths. The milk in the jug at the coffee stations were often not kept at correct temperature as the ice in the centre was non-existent. The coffee machines milk in the fridge was 3 times out of 4 always empty and required guests to search for staff to attend to same. I had to contact the desk when the dvd just wasn’t working and they had no idea. Considering the cost of the cruise, these issues were not acceptable at all. No excuses. We paid our bill and then found we had been locked out of our cabin. Really…..Had to have the keys recoded. Hardly a trusting gesture. The staff knew nothing, always referring to someone else who didn’t know anything anyway. Train the staff to know whats happening and how to assist with simple questions.”
