Passenger Complaint: Carnival Cruise Line Passenger Review June 6, 2018 – “I paid CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES over $1,600 for excursions in the Eastern Caribbean. One of the excursions I purchased was a 1 hour helicopter ride over the rain forests, in San Juan. We paid $520 for this, and when we got off the ship the excursion people met us and took us for a 9 minute, YES 9 minute!!!, ride over the city of San Juan (NOT A 1 HOUR RIDE OVER THE RAINFOREST – A 9 MINUTE RIDE OVER THE CITY OF SAN JUAN). I complained to the excursion people and they couldn’t care less. I called Carnival after the cruise and they offered me a $25 credit per person TOWARDS A FUTURE CRUISE.
I AM DISPUTING THIS ON MY VISA CHARGE, AND WILL NEVER SPEND MONEY ON CARNIVAL CRUISE LINES AGAIN. I go on a cruise every year, and this was the first and last time I will ever give Carnival any money. This is extremely poor customer service. Additionally, the food, entertainment and room were less than average. Very disappointed in this vacation.”
