Passenger Complaint: Oceania Cruises Consumer Review April 12, 2018 – “My complaint isn’t so much with the ship but with their corporate offices. The ship was ok… The room was extremely small. During my trip I got pneumonia… Long story short 3/4 of my 21 day trip was spent in the hospital. In trying to dispute the charges that were billed to me in my 15 minutes in their infirmary and AFTER I departed the boat the company as a whole has been terrible. They repeatedly gave me an invalid email for customer relations. And when I finally sent a registered letter they responded with a letter of apology with my name at the top but the incorrect booking number and incorrect medical charges.
When I then called the corporate offices the employee would not even listen to me about the mistake. She stated that she could not even listen. It had to be on paper. Whether that is true or not it’s still bad customer service. The whole company has given me nothing but the runaround since day one and we should have backed out before. But it was too late to get any decent amount of money back. With the amount they charge I would NEVER use their company or their parent company Norwegian ever again. And I will NEVER recommend them to anyone and would steer anyone clear of their companies. And also the travel agency GoNext that they work with.”
