Passenger Complaint: Carnival Cruise Line BBB Review September 11, 2017 – “I am unbelievably upset and disappointed. Our honeymoon has been completely ruined by your company. We were suppose to sail sept 9 on carnival glory. I understand the hurricane was out of anyone’s control but to string us along…? We could have made other arrangements. You took us from the cruise we have been dreaming about to a 4 day Cozumel and now a 3 day Bahama cruise???? We’ve wasted our honeymoon waiting for you to make the right call for your customers but instead you kept delaying in hopes to not refund. Thank god for trip insurance. We will take our business elsewhere and will NEVER recommend anyone to sail with you! I will let everyone I know what an awful experience this has been!!!! Why couldn’t you have canceled and let us have our money back with no hassle and we would of made new plans for our honeymoon? I’m heartbroken. It’s 11:00 the night before the now 4 day Cozumel cruise that you delay to Wednesday on a 3 day Bahamas cruise. Such a disappointment. I’ve seen great things about royal Caribbean and how they have been handeling everything during the storm! Guess my travel insurance refund will go to them!”

We will strive to preserve the vacation experience to the best of our ability. However, adverse weather conditions do sometimes dictate that itineraries be altered or cancelled. Also, the unpredictable nature of tropical weather systems necessitates that decisions on course alterations be made very close in which can sometimes result in little or no opportunity for advance notification. We always maintain a safe distance from all adverse weather to keep everyone safe. We can not advise exactly what will take place since weather is unpredictable, but we can guarantee we will not put anyone in harms way. We are sorry to hear the guest feels we did not notify them of the changes in a timely manner. We are sorry for any disappointment and frustration this may have caused.
